About the Commission

Five Commissioners, elected to four-year terms by the voters of the Port District, serve as the governing body for the Port of Columbia County. Commissioners are responsible for setting Port policy, overseeing the Executive Director, adopting the annual budget, approving all major expenditures, and developing and approving short and long-range plans for the Port. Commissioners are accountable to the citizens within the Port District.

Meetings   

Regular Session Commission Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. at the Port office. Commission Work Sessions are held as needed on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Port office. Meetings are subject to change. To verify, check the Event Calendar
